The final countdown has been initiated, but someone's forgotten to build the rocket! Now, whatever is on the pad when the time hits zero is going to space, whether it's ready or not!

Use WASD or the arrow keys to rapidly build a rocket that meets all the requirements for a successful space mission.

NOTE: you can adjust the game's display size by using the full-screen button (bottom right) and then zooming in and out with your browser.

--- Rocket Science (Rules & Scoring) ---

Boost: This is the force applied upward by your boosters and any fuel that they are connected to. If your total boost is higher than your weight + drag, you make it to space!

Weight: Each piece has a weight value, and makes it more difficult to get the cargo into space.

Drag: The width of the top of your ship will determine how much drag is applied. Drag adds weight, so keep an eye out for the red areas marked above your rocket! To help with drag, you can use nose-cones and fins. (see below)

Points: Each piece on your rocket ship scores a point for making it to space! But cargo can be worth a whole lot more! (check out the part description for cargo below)

Boosters: +4 boost, +1 weight. They'll get you to space, but they're not very efficient on their own.

Fuel Cells: +1 weight, +2 boost if connected to a Booster. Connected chains of fuel cells provide their boost bonus to each Booster piece directly connected to the chain. So if you have a big clump of fuel cells and a few boosters attached to them, you're probably gonna make it to space!

Crew Capsule: +2 weight, required. The rocket won't take off without its crew!

Nose Cones & Fins: Eliminate drag from the space it covers.

Cargo: +2 weight, +5 points. Connected chains of cargo also get a point bonus. Each piece scores additional points equal to every other piece in the chain, so:

1 cargo alone: 5pts

2 cargo touching : 12pts

3 cargo touching: 21pts

4 cargo touching 32pts

And so on!

How big of a Cargo-Combo can you build?
